According to Destatis, the average actual leave entitlement in Germany is 28–30 days. When changing jobs: leave entitlement accrues monthly (1/12 per month in the first half-year), full entitlement after 6 months of service. If the offer is below 25 days: negotiating room is real — additional leave days cost the employer little and have high value for you.
