How many days after the interview should I follow up?

After the interview: Thank-you email within 24 hours (not immediately — that appears desperate). If the recruiter says 'We will get back to you in 2 weeks': Follow up politely after exactly 2 weeks. General rule: Maximum one follow-up message per waiting period. More frequent follow-ups do harm.
